1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and MV Counsellor ("we," "us," or "our").

MV Counsellor provides professional mental health counseling services, including but not limited to:

- Career guidance and counseling
- Emotional healing and mental wellness support
- Behavioral and cognitive therapy
Services may be provided in-person at our office location or online through secure video conferencing platforms.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Reside in India (for in-person services) or have access to stable internet connection (for online services)
4. Account and Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
4.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem inappropriate or harmful.
5. Appointment Booking and Attendance
5.1 Booking
- Appointments can be booked through our website, phone, or email
- All bookings are subject to counselor availability
- You will receive a confirmation email/SMS once your appointment is confirmed
5.2 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee
- No-shows (missing an appointment without notice) will be charged the full session fee
5.3 Rescheduling
- Appointments can be rescheduled subject to availability
- Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for rescheduling requests
6. Fees and Payment
6.1 Service Fees
- All fees are clearly displayed on our Services page
- Fees must be paid in full before or at the time of the session
- We accept online payments, bank transfers, and cash (for in-person sessions)
6.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of booking or before the session begins
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes
- We reserve the right to change our fees with reasonable notice
6.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled as per our Refund Policy (see separate Refund Policy page).
7. Professional Standards and Limitations
7.1 Not Emergency Services
Important: Our counseling services are not intended for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or have thoughts of harming yourself or others, please:
- Call emergency services (112 in India)
- Go to the nearest hospital emergency room
- Contact a crisis helpline immediately
7.2 Professional Boundaries
- Counseling is a professional service bound by ethical guidelines
- Dual relationships (e.g., personal, business, or romantic relationships between counselor and client) are prohibited
- Counselors may refer clients to other professionals if appropriate
7.3 No Guarantees
While we strive to provide effective counseling services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Counseling requires active participation and commitment from clients.
8. Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with professional ethical standards and applicable laws. However, confidentiality may be limited in the following circumstances:
- When there is imminent risk of harm to self or others
- In cases of suspected child abuse or neglect
- When required by law or court order
- When you provide written consent to disclose information

9. Online Services and Technology
9.1 Technical Requirements
For online counseling sessions, you must have:
- A stable internet connection
- A device with video and audio capabilities
- A private, quiet space for sessions
9.2 Technical Issues
- We are not responsible for technical issues beyond our control
- If a session is interrupted due to technical problems, we will attempt to reconnect
- Sessions may be rescheduled if technical issues persist
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MV Counsellor and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization

When using our services, you agree not to:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MV Counsellor, its counselors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

- Your violation of any third-party rights

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
